realuptime status vs UptimeRobot
UptimeRobot's own help center describes its multi-location feature as rotational: each check runs from one selected region at a time, cycling through the regions assigned to a monitor, with no simultaneous multi-region reading for a single check. Region selection itself is gated to paid plans; Free accounts get one auto-assigned default region. realuptime status checks every monitor from all four of its named regions and shows all four readings together on the public page, on every tier including Free.

Why teams pick realuptime status
UptimeRobot's own documentation states that a multi-location monitor is checked from one region at a time, cycling through whichever regions are assigned to it, with confirmation re-checks run in that same single region before a monitor is marked down. realuptime status checks all four of its named regions on every run and publishes all four readings side by side on the public page, so a visitor sees exactly which regions are affected rather than a single rotating state. That region access is included on our Free tier along with per-check region selection, while UptimeRobot restricts region choice to paid plans and limits Free accounts to one auto-assigned region. UptimeRobot remains ahead on raw Free-tier monitor count and ships its REST API on every plan including Free, where our API access is limited to Growth and Scale.
